I'm a therapy facilitator working towards becoming a qualified group analyst and individual psychotherapist. Most recently I received training as a Therapeutic Active Listening Assistant (TALA), which means I can work with young people in schools, individually, under the supervision of an educational psychologist. I qualified as an art, design and photography teacher, with PGCert and QTS status in 2024. I have recently finished working at an Alternative Provision (AP) Pupil Referral Unit (PRU).

My ongoing group analysis training is with the Institute of Group Analysis (IGA), delivered by Turvey Groupwork. The completion of my training will result in the attainment of Group Work Practitionor status (GWP) and eventually registration with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). My training requires full supervision across both my group and individual clients, which means I will be working with some highly experienced group analysts, psychoanalysts and psychotherapists to think with me about how I can best support the people I work with.

To further develop my knowledge of the mental health system, I'm currently undertaking a clinical placement at a local psychiatric hospital. Both my working and educational lives require constant feedback, where I am analysing myself and others, all under supervision. I'm a member of Group Analytic Society International (GASi) and the IGA. My indemnity cover is with Everywhen, previously known as Tower Gate, Insurance for up to £1 million.
